She smiled brightly. “That would be wonderful! She has the sweetest demeanour and she is bright for her age. Where is your fiancé now, if you don’t mind me asking?”
“That’s wonderful!” Mina smiled, but soon her expression turned slightly cold, and sad as he was mentioned. “Oh, he’s in a strange land, he’s lucky, he gets to travel all over the world. I can’t for the life of me think what the name of the place is. If you’ll bare with me a moment, he’s written it on a letter.” She said, pulling a note out of her pocket. “Transylvania. That’s it. He says it’s odd there, but he’s enjoying it.”
“Ah, Transylvania. I’m afraid I haven’t been there yet, but I have heard that it is a strange but beautiful land. I wish we women could travel as freely as men, don’t you think? I remember during my childhood, my brothers had to go to this school, where they learn things such as fencing and how to ride a horse should the need for them to enlist in the army arise. I wanted to go as well, but my father would not let me, so I cut my hair and wore my younger brother’s old clothes and stowed away. Apparently, as soon as we got there, I was found.” she laughed.
“Oh yes, I should love to travel with Jonathan, but alas, my place is here. Until we’re married, at least, that’s what he tells me.” Her expression turned light at the short anecdote. “Oh, that’s wonderful! I would have loved that, but I was rather timid when I was young, I would never dare to be so bold as to do something like that!” She laughed gently.
I understood at last how my love could release us all from the powers of darkness. Our love is stronger than death.
thebiancasolderini replied to your post:“Good evening, my name is Bianca Solderini. Pleased to meet you!” Bianca smiled sweetly and curtsied.“How do you fare tonight, Mina?” Bianca asked, smiling. “I hope all is well.”
Mina was quite taken aback at the fowardness of the young girl in front of her, she cleared her throat and painted a sad smile across her lips. “I am.. plagued with sadness, I am afraid, Miss. But I shan’t bore you with that. And yourself?”
“I am well tonight, thank you. Pray, tell me, what causes your sadness, if I may ask?” she inquired.
She was scared the young woman would think she was mad, but anyway, she had nobody else to tell, nobody else who cared. “Oh, I just, I can’t seem to escape the thoughts of a man - I use the word lightly too - a man who came to me, in dreams, and I sense him every moment, and yet I know it couldn’t be possible and-” She covered her mouth. “I am very sorry, Miss. This is incredibly rude of me. I barely know you and yet I seem to tell you my life. Forgive me.”
“You have no need to apologise, I know exactly how you feel. I’ve had the same experience before too, and I thought I was just making him up, that I was going mad. I’m just about to go for a walk, would you like to join me?” she inclined her head towards the park and smiled gently at Mina.
She quirked a brow. “Truly? You understand? ..Wow.” She glanced toward where she was gesturing and nodded gently, beginning to take a few steps to the park. “So, Miss, tell me about yourself?”
She nodded and walked towards the park. “Well, my story is very long, I must say, but I shall shorten it for your convenience. I was born in Florence, I sing at the Royal Opera House, and I’m married.” she said and chuckled. “I live a simple life. And you, Mina?”
“Oh, you sing? That’s delightful. I’ve always loved music, if even though I’ve never been able to sing myself.” She laughed. “Me? Oh, I grew up in London. I’m a school mistress now, and engaged. The same as you, perhaps - simple.”
“Singing wasn’t actually what I really wanted to do. I was discovered by the director of the Royal Opera House.” she said and smiled. “But I enjoy performing immensely, I do like to make people happy. A school mistress? What school, may I ask? I have a daughter, and I would love to have her start her education early, well not now since she’s still a baby.” Bianca giggled.
She smiled, a little embarrassed. “Uhm, well, you see, Miss, I’m sort of in between jobs at the moment. Only, with Jonathan away a lot it’s hard to concentrate. I do some private tutoring though, but I could perhaps teach your daughter when she’s older? Privately?”
She smiled brightly. “That would be wonderful! She has the sweetest demeanour and she is bright for her age. Where is your fiancé now, if you don’t mind me asking?”

-nods and smiles- Jacob Hassen.
Curtsies slightly, bowing her head. “Miss Mina Murray, Sir. A pleasure.” She smiled.
The pleasure’s all mine, Miss Murray. Having a pleasant day so far?
“As pleasant as it can be. And yourself?” She said, quietly.
I can’t complain really. -slight frow- I hope I’m not bothering you in some way. Were you going somewhere?
“Oh no, Sir.” She said. “I don’t really have much to do nowadays, my Fiancé is away at the moment on a business trip, so I’m just looking for things to do.” She laughed gently.
